Snow that stayed!
My kids were thrilled.
It was pretty, a fitting first real snowfall of the year.
Big, soft flakes floating quietly down.
I think it's kind of neat how the mountains disappear in the midst of a storm.
Chickens...were not so impressed.
They even have a roof over their run, but apparently that wasn't quite enough protection from the strange whiteness falling from the sky.
Mountains are back, covered with a blanket of snow.
Are we ready for this?
Neighbors and old-timers here all say to expect loads and loads of snow.
Here we go.
