If you're new here, I garden in Eastern Washington, USA, zone 5b.
As you can tell, I also talk about books on this blog.
Pull up a chair and stay awhile!
For my book-loving friends, Garden Blogger's Bloom Day happens on the 15th of each month. It's pretty simple: all you have to do is post what is blooming in your garden right now.
Carol, over at May Dreams Gardens, hosts the meme.
Click over there and see lovely flowers from all over the world!
I've actually got something to post this month!
In my back flowerbed, these lovely ladies have bloomed out:
I'm not sure if it's the colder weather lately or just this variety, but they all have their heads down.
Hyacinths so close!
I'm guessing by the end of the week we'll be able to smell these as we walk by.
These mini daffodils just make me so happy.
Moving up to the front flowerbeds:
[Yes, this is the same picture I posted last week.
Hey, they are still blooming!]
This little primrose was a gift last year.
I didn't actually expect it to come back, but here it is!
Plus, another near-miss for Bloom Day:
Oregon grape (Mahonia aquifolium)
You can see the lighter green buds just about to open!
This little shrub has really taken off in the last year and filled in its space quite nicely.
I have been very pleased with it.
So, mostly the usual spring stuff. :)
Thanks for stopping by!
